There are two reservoirs very near to Spaxton, Ashford is the oldest on the lane just past Charlynch.
Hawkridge, pictured here, was completed in 1962 to provide water for Bridgwater. There is a very enjoyable walk round the reservoir, which is not too strenuous, with plenty of wildlife to be seen.
