Church of The Holy Ghost

Church of The Holy Ghost
The church aisle

The bench ends are a fine example of Tudor craftsmanship. They were given to the church by a Bickham in 1534, full of imaginative work and showing a variety of secenes. One shows two men spearing a two headed dragon in a tree, which comes from the old Quantock legend of a dragon that ravaged the area on the south-west side of the Quantocks.
