The new Zing App is a simple way to keep track of all your physical activity throughout each month. Simply sign in, pick your activity and log how many minutes you've done.

You can log your activity when you’re at the gym, when you've finished your swim or when you've completed your walk, it’s now easier and quicker to log your activity minutes where ever you are! There is no need to sign on to your computer to log your minutes - just use the new App!

The Zing Somerset App was launched in March 2013 to aid the people of Somerset in starting and sustaining physical activity. It’s a great way to record your weekly activity and gives motivation to continue. The App assists the Zing Somerset website that has been in operation for just over a year. You can also log your minutes on the website, but in addition, the website sets challenges, provides news items, videos, you can join a ‘zing team’, gives details of sessions and offers that are happening around the county, but most importantly lets you search for opportunities to participate in sport and physical activity in Somerset. It’s simple, just type in your post code and the nearest sports facilities and sessions show up on a map.

One Zing App user said,

“I downloaded this to start capturing how many hours I am actually active for. I can add the time as I walk off court if I like and see it in graphical form or statistically straight away. Looks funky, always got my phone and ergo my stats with me! What more could a competitive person ask for!”
