Party on the Playing Field
A wonderful weekend of May celebrations for the whole village was organised to coincide with visitors from Nether Stowey's twin village in France, Theillay.
On the Saturday evening a Party was held on Nether Stowey's Playing field in a rather grand marquee, three local bands provided an mixture of music for all to dance or listern to. White Horse farm provided a Hog Roast and many local people provided salads. The Rose & Crown provided a bar. The marquee was full of people enjoying themselves and outside many families came with picnics. The Party was a sell out.
