COME & JOIN US AT EUROPE’S LARGEST ORGANIC FOOD FESTIVAL……… COURTESY OF YEO VALLEY ORGANIC!
For the third year running, Somerset’s Yeo Valley Organic - Britain’s favourite organic dairy brand – is sponsoring Europe’s largest Organic Food Festival, taking place on Bristol’s Harbourside on 01 and 02 September.
The Festival marks the start of Organic Food Fortnight, and with the West Country fast becoming Britain’s organic food capital it would be hard to find a more appropriate venue!
There will be more than 150 exhibitors, representing some of the country’s finest organic food producers, and as well as the chance to sample the delicious organic food and drink on offer there will be cookery demonstrations and talks taking place, plus lots of entertainment organised to appeal to all the family.
Yeo Valley Organic, who are based at Blagdon, will be there offering taste samples of their famous organic yogurts and ice cream, and to whet your appetites and help get you in the mood for the Festival, here’s a tasty smoothie recipe and the chance to be one of 10 lucky winners to receive a pair of tickets to attend the event.
60 Second Breakfast Smoothie – serves 2
- 225g pot Yeo Valley Organic Apple & Berry Compote
- 3 tbsp Yeo Valley natural yogurt
- 300ml Yeo Valley Organic semi-skimmed milk
Place the ingredients into a smoothie maker or blender and blend until thick and creamy. Add a little extra milk for a thinner consistency. Pour into glasses and serve.
