The Quantock Musical Theatre Company
The Quantock Musical Theatre Company's latest performances featured some of the amazingly talented youngsters. The over all performance of the whole company was brilliant.

The musical director, Troy Kurgiahi and Peter Mason-Hoare gave the company a great sound which would be the envy of many professional groups. Peter Mason-Hoare has been accompanying the cast at their rehearsals as well as playing at all the the performances. On the 13th and 20th they were joined by the talented Mark Pearse on the Double bass, he also showcased his impressive voice with an emotional performance of "Old Man River" as well as "Bring Him Home" from "Les Miserables".

The youngsters had the audience enthralled with their singing of many of the songs from popular West End Shows from the ever popular Chittie-Bang-Bang and "Cats" to newer productions like "Wicked", " Blood Brothers" and of course "Spam-A-Lot" The one they all seemed to enjoy was "The Time Warp" from "The Rocky Horror Show". Their individual performances were great, certainly our stars of the future, Dan, Polly and Alice Keane, Katie Popham, Sally and Natalie Birshead and the lads Peter Collington, Scott Williams, Edward Wittingham and Dominic Youé. Keep a eye on these names; one day they will be up in lights!

The audience at Stogursey joining in
The end of the show had the audience joining in, from the young to an ever youthful 99 year old who was definitely young at heart who joined in the dance in his wheel chair!
The performance of Barbara Williams was fantastic she has a beautiful voice, this was joined by Shirley Stollery with a lovely version of "Pie Jesu" as well as duets with Malcolm Hogg and Brian Williams. The duet of Barbara and Brian " The song that goes like this" from Spam-A-Lot" could have been written for them.
