Music on the Quantocks is a not-for-profit group of friends bringing world-class music to villages on and around the Quantock Hills.
We think great music should be for everyone - all ages, all backgrounds. So our concerts have a modern, informal style that makes everyone feel not only welcome, but also that they’re among friends.
We don’t use labels like high-brow, low-brow or any kind of brow. And we avoid the outdated, staid, stuffy formality that discourages so many "ordinary" people, particularly young people, from attending classical music concerts.
Hope to see you at a concert … soon!

Harry Christophers and The Sixteen are one of the finest choral groups in the world, the “rock stars” of early choral music.
They tour throughout Europe, Japan, Australia and the Americas and have given regular performances at major concert halls, such as the Royal Albert Hall, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Sydney Opera House, Tokyo Opera City and Vienna Musikverein. Every year they tour Britain's finest cathedrals bringing music back to the buildings for which it was written.
The Sixteen are “The Voices of Classic FM”. They recently featured in the popular BBC television series, Sacred Music, presented by actor Simon Russell Beale. A second series focused on the music of Brahms, Bruckner, Fauré, Pärt and Tavener.
Their concert for Music on the Quantocks presents sublime music by the 15th and 16th century composers Josquin Despres, Antoine Brumel and Orlande de Lassus.
